When you use Focus for Change, we collect:

• Your email address and name (from sign-up or Google OAuth)
• Focus session data: duration, date, and cause associated with each session
• Subscription status and billing information (processed by Stripe — we never see your card details)
• Your selected cause and app preferences (e.g. dark mode)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate the service:

• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Track your focus sessions and calculate donation amounts
• Process your subscription via Stripe
• Send impact reports and account emails (you can opt out)
• Display aggregate community impact statistics (always anonymised)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Focus for Change:

• Supabase — database and authentication (data stored in the US)
• Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Google — optional OAuth sign-in

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised session data may be retained for aggregate reporting.

5. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. You can also delete your account from the Settings page.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies only to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
